Hosted Desktop; managed and secure
Hosted Desktop uses a Terminal Server. This Terminal Server is located in Universal IT’s data center. We make sure your server is always available and always protected so that you always have access to your desktop. Of course we make daily backups of your environment.
The desktop is secured with an SSL certificate (https). This means that your information is encrypted, as in telebanking systems. There is also the option of using a token. The token issues a code that is required to log in to your desktop.
Flexibility and cost savings
Our Hosted Services are offered for a fixed price per user per month. You can individualise the available software per user. This ensures you never have to pay for inactive software licences. You can modify the package anytime you like or even subscribe to specific software for limited periods.
Since you access our Hosted Desktop services from your own dedicated Terminal Server, you can also run your own software on it, such as a business application or accounting program. Of course this data is also included in the daily backup.
